Why Book Direct?
Booking directly with us means a more personal, hassle-free experience, and it helps support a small family business. When you book direct, you can:
- Easily make changes if your plans change.
- Ask about special requests — we love helping make your stay just right.
- Avoid credit card or service fees, keeping things simple and straightforward.
Booking direct makes it easy for us to give you the best possible experience and ensures your stay is tailored to you.
Rates
$260 per night — Standard Rate (minimum stay 2 nights)
$280 per night — Peak Rate (minimum stay 3 nights) — long weekends / school holidays
(Rates are inclusive of GST)

Occupancy & Extras
- Rates are for up to 2 guests.
- Additional guests: $30 per person / per night (maximum 4 guests).
- Rollaway bed (5th guest): $20 per night — please add as an extra during booking.
- Infants under 2 years stay free. They can sleep in a portacot (available for $10 per stay) or with parents in an existing bed. Infants do not count toward the maximum occupancy.
- Portacot: $10 per stay — please bring your own cot linen.
- Cheese grazing box: $28 — can be added during booking or during your stay (order 24 hrs ahead).
Important Booking Information
- Our booking system lists this as 1 room, but this refers to our only chalet – there is only one chalet available.
- The chalet has 2 bedrooms and accommodates up to 4 guests, or up to 5 guests if a rollaway bed is used.
- Please book only 1 room, as this represents the full chalet.

Bedding Configuration
Please let us know your bedding configuration ahead of time to ensure we have beds made up correctly for you (eg two guests who wish to use one bed in each room). There are no additional fees, but this ensures we have everything ready for your arrival.
Mid-Week Refresh
A mid-week refresh is available for stays of 4 days or more (upon request), or once per week for longer stays. This is included in the price.
Deposit and Payments
- A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.
- Remaining balance is due 30 days prior to stay.
- For bookings less than 30 days away, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Check in and Check out Times
- Check-in from 2:00 pm and check-out by 10:00 am (unless otherwise arranged).
- Please let us know your approximate arrival time.
- Ensure all keys are returned on departure.
House Rules
Smoking Policy
Our chalet is a non-smoking property, including all rooms and living areas. Thank you for helping us keep it fresh and comfortable for everyone.
Minimum Age Requirements
Guests must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation and check in.
Pet Policy
Pets are not permitted in the chalet, except for registered service animals.
Cancellation Policy
Changes to Bookings
- Changes may incur a $30 administration fee and are subject to availability.
Cancellations
- Free cancellation: more than 30 days prior to arrival.
- Cancellations within 30 days of arrival: 100% of total booking amount is forfeited.
- For bookings via third-party websites or agents, any service or merchant fees charged by us are non-refundable. Where free cancellation applies, only the cost of accommodation will be refunded.
- No refunds for late arrivals, early departures, or no-shows.
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
COVID-19 Exceptions
If government restrictions prevent your stay, we can offer:
- New dates for a future stay (different rates may apply), or
- Voucher for a future stay, for the value paid, or
- Full refund of any prepayment/deposit
